He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Maxfield of Sterling, Illinois, Shane Maxfield of Danville, Illinois, Ken Maxfield (Michelle) of Rock Falls, Illinois, Donald Maxfield of Catlin and Richard Lee Maxfield, II (Margie) of White City, Oregon; and his brother Rodney Maxfield (Tena) of Clarksville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
