He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Mendoza and Mary Mendoza (Mendoza); his brother Eddie Mendoza; and his brother-in-law Manuel Zuniga. He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Mendoza of Decatur; his grandchildren, Terry Boothby III, Xaylor Busche and Lily Boothby; his siblings, Chris Mendoza of Texas, Daniel Mendoza of Stickney, IL, Michael Mendoza (Liz) of Palatine, IL and Nieves Bernal (Jose) of Decatur; and his half-siblings, Jesse Mendoza (Bianca) of Houston, TX, George Mendoza (Griselda) of Chicago, IL, Ricky Mendoza (Marcy) of Broadview, IL, Sandra Zuniga of Chicago, IL and Lupita Mendoza (Sergio).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home (225 Adams St, Decatur, IN 46733). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
