She was predeceased by: her parents, Klaus Dykstra and Eidje Dykstra; and her spouse Sedney "Sid" Van Schepen. She is survived by: her children, Edie Bakker (Bob), Jessie Van Schepen, Fred Van Schepen (Diane), Bill Van Schepen (Marjie) and Michelle Gast (John); and her grandchildren, Gayle, Rachel, Jason, Bart, Andrew, Mary Ann, John, J. C. and Jessica. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the World Home Bible League.
