He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Taylor and Odene Taylor (Bartlett); his son-in-law Martin 'Marty' Sparger; and his siblings, Harold Taylor, Wayne Taylor, Eulis Taylor and Patsy Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Ivadell Thornhill; and his daughters, Dianne Spager-Cory (Herb) and Karen Cales (Stan). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, and 2 brothers.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Graceway Bible Baptist Church.
