We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2025, at the age of 93, Joyce Anita Montella of Demotte, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Montella; and her siblings, Tony Reynolds, Shirley Keene and Linda Barnes. She is survived by: her children, Jan Montella (Margaret), Gregory Montella, Kathie Triemstra (Joel) and Dr. Anthony Montella; her grandchildren, Brittany Montella (TJ Beaulieu), Blake Montella (Carly Spirakes), Lisa Lubanovic (Michael), James Montella (Megan), Jessica Akers (Justin), Tyler Triemstra (Katie), Jordan Triemstra (Leah), Jonathon Montella and Julianna Montella; her great grandchildren, Graham, Aliya, Aiden, Maya, Carver, Annie, Jack, Clark and Levi; and her sibling Jodie Cockrum.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S Cline Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
