She was predeceased by: her parents, Selby C. Burton and Lena Mae Rowlett Burton; her husband Walter A. Spry, Sr.; her siblings, Morton Edward "Ed" Burton, Darrell Totten Burton, Ricky Blaine Burton, Delma B. Wise Breeden, Mamie Jurella "Judy" Boone, Eula Mae Young, Ida R. "Boatie" Smith, Rachel Lou Copeland and Rita "Jody" Brady; her close friend Clyde Kidd; and her child Francis Elaine Spry.
She is survived by: her sons, Walter A. Spry, Jr. (Brenda) of Madison and Randy Spry (Lynnetta) of Deputy, Indiana; her grandchildren, Brian Spry (Jan), Randy Spry Jr. (Dana Westrick), Melissa Andrew (Mike) and Ronnie Spry (Pam Cline); her sisters, Brenda Brittain (Larry) of Madison and Jean Reed (George "Pete") of Madison, Indiana; and her brother-in-law Merv Brady of Lagrange, Kentucky. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; two-great great grandchildren.
