She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Canady and Audrey Canady (Elgan); her husband Sherman Jarrett; her daughter Melody Bonnet; her grandson Joshua Jarrett; and her sisters, Ruby Achors, Frances Ward and Georganna Sorrells.
She is survived by: her brother John Canady of Maricopa Arizona; and her children, Stephen Jarrett of Indianapolis and Sharman Jarrett-Clark of Linton. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
