He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavelle Rowlett Carlisle and Gerald Lee "Buddy" Carlisle; his wife Connie Sue Britton Carlisle; his daughter Kathryn Sue "Kathi" Carlisle; his great grandchild Bowen Mac Henry; and his sibling's children, Trevor Joe Yager and Angela Kay Ehlers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Toni Lea Carlisle Martin of Greenwood and Taffney Ranae "Bumper" Carlisle Pilman (Jerry); his grandchildren, Brittany (John), Alex, Gunnar (Brooklynn), Greyson, Zoe, Britton and Emmaline; his great grandchildren, Heath and Delaney; his brother Gerald D. "Jerry" Carlisle of Commiskey, Indiana; his brother-in-law Joe Yager of Madison, Indiana; his aunt Mary Carlisle of Mitchell, Indiana; and his sibling's children, Susan Ball and Tom Ehlers.
