He is survived by: his parents, Claude Lorenzen and Emma Lorenzen; his siblings, Bob, John, Helen and Miriam; his daughter Dawn (Aubert); his grandchildren, Julia, Katherine, Natalie Aubert, Nicholas Lorenzen and Patrick Aubert; and his daughter-in-law Kristen Lorenzen.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance (http://www.ifsa.org), which holds summer camps for children who are burn victims.
