He was predeceased by: his wife Karolina Diaz; his father Elias Diaz; and his brother Edwin Diaz. He is survived by: his daughter Isabella; his siblings, Sarita Potas (Bill) and David Diaz; his mother Sara Diaz; his siblings' children, Amanda, Presten Potas, Cristina, Matthew Diaz, Jonathan Diaz, Joshua Diaz and Nicole Simmons; and his siblings-in-law, Ginger Lane (Robert) and Daniel Flynn (Kathie).
