He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Cummins and Mamie Cummins; and his brother Ralph Cummins (late Gloria). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Susan Maltase (Cliff), Michael (Joan), Greg (Debbie) and Janel Hayes (Tom); his grandchildren, Carolyn Delby (Sean), Dawn Zauner (John), Gina Maltase, Laura Cramsey (Kevin), Michael Cummins Jr., Vincent Maltase and Mitchell Hayes; and his great grandchildren, Emma and Reed Cramsey.
