He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Patt; his child Mark Miketinac (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Gianna of Nick and Sophia; his sibling Bruce Miketinac (Pattie); and his siblings-in-law, Delores Yarashus (Donald) and Marie Provenzano (Sam).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the William J. Riley Memorial Residence (511 Otis Bowen Dr. Munster, Indiana) preferred.
