He was predeceased by: his parents, Silverio Diaz-Ortiz and Eulalia Flores-Padilla; and his brothers, Hermenhildo, Juan, Francisco and Jose Antonio Diaz.
He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Miguel Diaz (Juanita), Maria Park (Jae), Rick Diaz (Janet) and Christina Diaz; and his grandchildren, Yadira, Erik, David, Daniel, Ariel, John, Isabel, Micaela and Kendall.
