It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard D. Gething (Dyer, Indiana), who passed away on April 23, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patty; his children, Robert Gething, Debbie Mauck (Richard), Cindy Kukla and Tammy Bonnema (William); and his brother Fred Gething. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
