He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Hayden; and his sister Jean Soich. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Kapala (David), Mary Shanks (Charlie), Eileen Sturm (Robert) and Bill Hayden; his grandchildren, Thomas Kapala (Peggy), Jean Brown (Jason), Mary Kapala and Bill Beneventi; his great grandchildren, Nora, Sarah Brown, Nolan Thompson and Aidan Kapala; and his sibling Barbara Sterning (late Robert).
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital in his memory would be appreciated.
