He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Chavarria and Consuelo Nuñez-Chavarria; his daughter Rosa Chavarria; and his grandson Alejandro Chavarria. He is survived by: his children, Silvia Lozano (Jesus) and Felipe Chavarria; and his grandchildren, Jesus Jr., Esteban, Lyzett, Liliana, Karla, Rosa, Luis, Araceli and Maritza. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (3802 Grand Blvd, East Chicago, IN 46312).
