He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Marie (Smith) and Charles Hoffman; and his siblings, Charlotte Ellis and Charles Hoffman. He is survived by: his wife Helen Mae Hoffman (Snodgrass) of Elberfeld, IN; his children, Sandra Hardwick (Raymond) of Evansville, IN and James Hoffman, Jr. (Valarie) of Henderson, KY; his siblings, Joyce Wilson (Robert) of Muhlenberg County, KY, Richard Hoffman of Portland, OR and William Hoffman of Spottsville, KY; and his grandchildren, Michael Hagan and Hannah Hardwick.
