He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his siblings, Robert Groff (Joanne) of Valparaiso, Sue Gutierrez (Roberto) of Schererville and Mary Bodlak (William) of Chicago; his siblings' children, Robert Gutierrez (Isa) of Chicago, Michael Gutierrez (Akiko) of Japan, Liam Bodlak and Katie Bodlak of Chicago; and his great-nephew Santi Gutierrez of Japan.
