She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Chestnut and Golda Jackson Chestnut; her husbands, Elbert Schooler and Bob Swafford; her grandson Adam Barbour; and her siblings, Carl Chestnut, Helen Heshelman and Darlene Biedenkopf.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Schooler (Mary) of Seymour, IN and Nancy Barbour (Paul) of Elizabethtown; her siblings, Rodger Chestnut of Vincennes, IN and Carol Kirk (Larry) of Columbus, IN; her grandchildren, Andrea Barbour, Matthew Barbour (Alicia), Molly Klinger (Nick) and Elizabeth Frazier (Kyle); and her great grandchildren, Lydia Barbour and Emma Klinger.
