It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Beltran of Elkhart, Indiana, born in Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raul and Olgie Cantu Sr. (Burrow); and her sister Bertha Pena. She is survived by: her children, Antonio Beltran Jr., Alicia Wiess (Paul Sr.) and Amanda Diaz (Jose); her siblings, Raul Cantu Jr., Betty Lopez (Eladeo), Beatrice Salzar (Sam), Bonnie Newton (Dwayne) and Barbara Cantu; and her brother-in-law Rosaleo Pena. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
She was her family's foundation and was someone they could turn to when they needed her caring advice or listing ear.
