He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin B. Arisman and Helen E. Arisman (Gilbert); his wife Judith "Judy" L. Dunivant; and his grandparents, Jacob and Anna Gilbert.

He is survived by: his children, Mark L. Arisman (Sheila), David G. Arisman, Jr. (Lori), Kathy M. Parks (Craig), Kandy L. Wolf (Mike) and Kristy L. Flynn; and his siblings, James E. Arisman, Scot A. Arisman and Nancy J. Arisman. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren.
