David Leatherman Obituary

We bid farewell to David Leatherman of Elkhart, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 10, 2025 at the age of 92. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Leatherman and Barbara Leatherman (Nyce). He is survived by: his wife Julia; his son Duane; his siblings, Harold, Paul, Warren, Martha Leatherman and Ethel Rush; his daughter-in-law Nancy; his children, Diane Yoder (Richard) and Ron (Miriam); and his grandchild Lee (Donna).

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Waterford Mennonite Church (65975 IN-15, Goshen, IN 46526). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

He finished his career at The Mennonite Foundation.
