She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Barbara Adams McMannis (Robert "Pops") of Elkhart; her stepfather Charles Whitmer, Sr.; her husband Michael "Mike" Montagano; her brother Michael Hanson; her sons, Christopher M. "Chris" Ward (Denise) of Elkhart, Keith A. Ward of Elkhart and Joshua T. "Josh" Reed (Holly) of Osceola; her stepdaughters, Amber Montagano of Indianapolis and Rebecca Mitchell (Pete) of Indianapolis; and her siblings, Edward Hanson of Elkhart, Roger Whitmer of Elkhart, George Hanson, Jr. of Michigan, Barbara Hagy of Elkhart, Elizabeth Vance of Elkhart and Mary McBryer (Gene) of Cumming, Georgia. She was also cherished by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and good friends.
In Deb's honor, memorial donations may be made to the Center for Hospice Care or to Cancer Resources for Elkhart County.
