He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred E. Swartz II and Beatrice Swartz (Noffsinger); and his sister Barbara Chandler. He is survived by: his daughter Nanette Putz (Jim) of Elkhart; his granddaughter Rachel Bucher of South Bend; and his sister Sandra Swartz-Lane of Elkhart.
