He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lovejoy. He is survived by: his mother Lillian Lovejoy; his wife Judy Lovejoy; his brothers, David Lovejoy (Donna) and Stephen Lovejoy (Karin); and his stepchildren, Wendy and David Hoefer. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a niece and a nephew.
