She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Norman Thomas and Annabelle Thomas (Baker); her husband Terry Shorter of Elkhart; her children, Aaron Lewis of Elkhart, Brian Shorter (Beth) of Fishers, IN, Susan Christner (Kenny) of Pierceton, IN and Angie Lewis of Elkhart; her grandchildren, Emily, Sara Christner, Neil Christner (Natalhali), Clarissa Lewis (Sean), Riley and Addison Shorter; and her great grandchild Drendin Briggs.
