It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Thomas of Elkhart, Indiana, born in Long Branch, New Jersey, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Schlegelmilch and Margaret Schlegelmilch (Roberts). She is survived by: her husband Neal Thomas; her children, Stephanie Mendoza (Dan) of Richland, WA and Jeremy Thomas (Amanda) of Northville, MI; her siblings, Peggy, Joan Schlegelmilch and Ray Schlegelmilch (Ann); her grandchildren, Marcella Mendoza, Mason, Connor and Jenna Thomas; and also Reverend Herman F. Thomas.
Due to the high Covid numbers in the area, attendees must be fully Covid vaccinated, wear masks, and avoid handshaking.
