He is survived by: his wife Angela Gamble (Townsend); his son Phinease Watts (Angel); his grandchildren, Phinease Hall, Cameryn Watts, Jason Jackson, Jasmine Jackson, Christian Jackson and Ashland Williams; his great grandchild Romeris Hinkle; his siblings, Ira Jay Gamble, Linda, Flora Mae Carothers and Jackie Harris; and his nephew Tavarri "Chopper" Robinson.
