He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Adkins (Blake) and Roy Adkins. He is survived by: his children, Christine Hoover (Brett) of Buckeye, AZ, Joseph E. Adkins (Sam) of Elkhart, Daniel R. Adkins (Hilary Pairitz) of Mishawaka and Matthew D. Adkins (Rosemary) of Beech Grove, IN; his granddaughters, Madeline, Sloan and Anabelle; and his siblings, David Adkins, Paul Adkins and Sue Gibson.
