He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd N. Brown and Winfred A. Brown (Troyer); his spouse Arleta "Sue" Ogeltree; his former wife Mary I. Brown (Oaks); his sister Marlene; and his grandson Mark Alter.

He is survived by: his daughters, Janae "Jae" A. Lawrence, Tonya M. Emerson and Laura L. Brown. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project or Traditions Hospice.
