Lois Messick Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Messick of Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on April 5, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervin Truex and Lorene Truex; her husband Carl Messick, Jr.; her son Jeffery Messick; and her siblings, Joyce Miers, Wayne Truex, Glen Truex and Donald Gene Truex.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Messick (Carol) of Elkhart, Cindy Cain of Elkhart and Heidi Trowbridge of Elkhart; her grandchildren, Tasha Gawthrop (Ryan), Dustin Messick (Cristyn), Nikki Cain of Tyler, Trevor Trowbridge, Kayla Trowbridge and Hannah Trowbridge; and her siblings, Virginia Cordell, Betty Sims, Buehl "Sonny" Truex and Walter Truex (Barbara). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
