He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Monroe and Shirley Monroe (Wolff); and his stepfather Ralph Stone. He is survived by: his siblings, Steven Monroe (Amy) of Dowagiac, MI, Daniel Monroe of Houston, TX and Mary Beth Gibbs (Jim) of Spring, TX; his siblings' children, Amanda Bair (Nathan) of Edwardsburg, MI, Margaret Gibbs of Spring, TX and Stephen Martin (Andrea) of Buchanan, MI; his great-niece Bailey Bair of Edwardsburg, MI.; and his stepmother Mary Yoder-Monroe.
