He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer L. Olinger and Susie L. Olinger (Kimes); his wife Elinor L. Hooley; and his brother Richard Olinger. He is survived by: his children, Steven E. Olinger of Edwardsburg, MI, Gary L. Olinger (Gail) of Bristol, IN, Cheryl A. Olinger of South Bend, Rebecca K. Egert (Denie) of Edwardsburg, MI and Tara VanHouton (E. J.) of Durham; and his siblings, Jerry L. Olinger (Sandy) of Paris, TN, Barbara Payne (Bernie) of Elkhart and Mae Gushwa of Mishawaka, IN. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
