He is survived by: his wife Edith Shepherd (Wade) of Elkhart; his children, Michael Shepherd, Jr. (Sylvia), Dustin Shepherd (Heather) and Shanlee Woods (Brian); his grandchildren, Zachary (Michelle), Hannah, Baliegh, Brycen, Savannah, Roberto, Maria, Justa and Jack; his sisters, Kathy Castillo (Doug) and Debbie Cale (Jack); and his granddaughter Elizabeth.
