He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion E. Royce and Gertrude Royce (Parks); his wife Mary Royce (Elli); and his siblings, Charles, Dan Royce, Betty Farrell and Nancy Walker.

He is survived by: his close friend Tina; his children, Steven Royce and Lori Royce (Jeff Clark); and his siblings, Jack Royce and Norma Stoltzfus. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
