He is survived by: his mother Linda Mercado (Thompson); his former wife Heather Price-Saltzman; his children, Kaytlyn and Dakota Metz; his grandson Killian McGrath; his sister Rachel Metz; his half-sister Stormy Davis; his friend Ben Engleberg; his partner Robin Ravenscroft; and his partner's children, Elleann and Nicholas Griffin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Faith Mission of Elkhart, 801 Benham Ave, Elkhart, Indiana.
