She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Arthur and Pola "Memaw" Friedman; and her father-in-law Warren D. Nordman. She is survived by: her husband Kurtis "Kurt" Burns; her sons, Riordan Burns (Bianca) of Elkhart and Jordan Burns of Elkhart; her foster daughter Abby Leighton of Elkhart; her parents, Robert Jones (Margie) and Renee Jones (Friedman); and her mother-in-law Viola Nordman.
