It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven James of Elkhart, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Tillman Sr. and Rosezella James (Walton). He is survived by: his daughter Alexis Tajana James (James Bryant); his grandchildren, Issy Bryant and Deangelo Bryant; and his siblings, David Tillman, Trumale Coleman, Larry James, Carolyn James, Rozella Jenkins and Bonita James. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, friends and relatives.
