She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Allan Dunn and Josie Madolyn Ayscue Dunn; her spouse Eldy Horein; and her sisters, Donna D. Reaves and Bettie D. Williams.

She is survived by: her sibling's children, Rhonda W. Bagshawe, Krystle Sockwell and Jesse Allan Reaves; her great-nieces, Madolyn Bagshawe and Robin Reaves; and her great-nephew Blake Sockwell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society, 165 US Hwy. 158, Henderson, NC 27537.
