She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonifacio M. Lalisan and Immaculata Montesa Lalisan; and her former husband David Canell, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Joel P. Curtiss; her children, Andrea Russell (Jeremi) of Mishawaka, Nicole Lambright (Brian) of Goshen and David Canell, Jr. of Urbana, Ohio; her stepsons, Jonathan Curtiss of Wyoming, Paul Curtiss (Melissa) of Oskaloosa and Rev. Timothy Curtiss (Tess) of Ottumwa, Iowa; her grandchildren, David Curtiss of Ottumwa and Madison Lambright of Goshen; her siblings, Bonifacio Marlon Lalisan of Romblon, Bernardita Muros of Romblon, Memie Del Lena of Olangapo City, Zambales, Salyn Batacon of Olangapo City, Zambales, Jemma Lapara of Subic, Emmalyn Barro of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro and Jocelyn Lalisan of Manila, Philippines; and her brothers-in-law, Dr. Eugene Curtiss of Traverse City and Lawrence Curtiss (Jennifer) of Bedford, Massachusetts. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to World Missionary Press or Emmanuel Evangelical Church, Petoskey, Michigan.
