With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Newton of Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on January 13, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Newton and Margaret Newton; and his sons, David Lee Newton and Robert W. Newton. He is survived by: his wife Nola V. Newton; his children, Phyl Stiver (Craig) and Doug Smith; his grandchildren, Matthew Newton (Laura), Melissa Gonzalez Cate (Angel), Cristy Cate, Brianna Bessa (Mathis), Joshua Samuelson, Matthew Samuelson and Joseph Samuelson; his siblings, Richard "Lee" Newton, Gerry Watkins, Jim Newton (Evelyn), Robert Newton and Mary Bell (John); and the mother of his children Betty Shaver. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
