He was predeceased by: his parents, William Doty and Abbie Doty (Basham). He is survived by: his children, Rachel Owen (Phil Hahn II), Jill Gregory (Greg) and Carl Doty; and his siblings, Kathy Mahler and Tom Doty (Sheila Neff). He is also survived by 3 granddaughters.
