He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Shirley "Bud" and Beulah Goodsene (Mitchell); his former wife Elsie Kiefer; his wife Violet Sailor; his sons, William Edward Goodsene (Teresa) of Knightstown and James Allen Goodsene of Goshen; his sister Kathryn Jane Cutter of Elkhart; his granddaughters, Lindsay Ann Arndt (Jon) of Green Valley, AZ and Jordyn Kathryn Goodsene (Michael Shoptaugh) of Indianapolis; and his great grandchildren, Clara, Winnie, Leah Arndt, Maelyn and Samuel Shoptaugh.
