It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Alley of Elwood, Indiana, born in Tipton, Indiana, who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Alley and Dessie Alley (Trimble); his wife Jeannine Songer; his daughter Tina Altherr (Alley); his siblings, James Alley, Thomas Alley, Jean Ann Day (Norman) and Martha Coulter; and his granddaughter Turonda Cripe.
He is survived by : his children, Vickie Cripe (Bill Cripe) of Curtisville, John Alley (Bonnie) of Tipton and Greg Alley (Debbie) of Curtisville; his grandchildren, Leora Cripe, Wade Cripe of Fairmount, Marty Cripe (Suzanne) of Curtisville, Quincy Henderson (Craig) of Sharpsville, Joshua Alley (Amy) of Bloomington, Jena Welker (Steve) of Greencastle, Andy Alley (Jessie) of Fort Polk, Devan Spaulding (Jonathan) of Tipton County, Wendy Thomas (Steve) of Indiana and Kala Leyk of Tipton; his son-in-law Chris Altherr of Tipton; and his brother-in-law Richard Coulter of Plainfield, Indiana.. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
