She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Butler and Helen Butler (Shay); her siblings, Mary F. Owen and Maurice E. Butler; and her siblings-in-law, Ralph Owen, Harold Swaim, Loren McMahan of Larence Shinabery, MD, Isabelle Shinabery and Deloris Swaim.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Spreen (Thomas) of Alexandria; her grandsons, John Forest Spreen of Gainesville and Thomas Luke Spreen (Katie) of Hyattsville; her great grandchild Arthur Thomas Spreen of Hyattsville; her sister-in-law Astrea Butler of Elwood; and her sibling's children, Larry E. Owen (Kim) of Elwood, Chesterfield of Elwood, Murray Owen of Elwood, Monty Owen of Elwood, Kent Swaim of Elwood, Patty Compton (Bill) of Arcadia and Karen Autrey (Rick) of Elwood.
