She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl York and Elizabeth "Louise" York (Toy); her siblings, Doug York, Ewell York and Carole Giselbach (Jack); her parents-in-law, John and Agnes Heflin; her siblings-in-law, Gloria Buchheit and Chuck Heflin; and her siblings' children, Greg Couch, Josh Weaver and Amanda Smith.
She is survived by: her husband David L. Heflin of Elwood; her sons, Dr. Kyle Heflin (Nikki) of Westfield and Dr. John Heflin (Erin) of Daleville; her brothers, Roger York (Dianna) of Converse and Dewayne York of Elwood; her sister-in-law Donna York of Jonesboro; her grandchildren, Kelsey, Delaney, Brady, Owen, Isla and Aiden; and her sister-in-law Joyce Heflin of Anderson.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Copher - Fesler - May Funeral Home (415 S Anderson St, Elwood, IN 46036). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home (415 S Anderson St, Elwood, IN 46036).
Linda requested memorial contributions be made to the Autism Society of Indiana through the funeral home.
