With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice C. (Phelps) Holmes of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on March 21, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Phelps and Esther Phelps (Brenner). She is survived by: her husband John Holmes of Evansville, IN; her children, Julia Cardenas (Javier) of Mesa, AZ, Laura Wall (Matt) of Carmi, IL and Evan Holmes (Laurie) of Evansville, IN; her sister Patricia "Pat" Merimee (Joe) of Kuttawa, KY; her grandchildren, Dante Cardenas, Diego Gardenas, Zachary Fegan (Kelsey), Christian Fegan, Morgan Wall, Alec Wall, Haylee Holmes, Andrew Holmes and Emma Holmes; and her great grandchild Maddie Medcraft. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
