She was predeceased by: her mother Martha Ruth Ash Sr. (Tryon); her husband Stephen M. James I; her brothers, Raymond Jr., Donald and Ronald Ash; her father Raymond Sr. Ash; and her mother-in-law Phyllis A James.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen M (Brushess James), Amy R. Rojas (James) of Evansville, Teya A. (David Manley), Terry K. (Greg Roberts) and Joan R. Bruce (James) of Evansville; and her siblings, Gary, Yvonne Ash of Boonville and Karen Alwardt of Illinois. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Bethany Christian Church of Evansville, the Evansville Food Pantry, or the Vanderburgh County Humane Society.
