It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Jane Ellen Merriman of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Claude McIntire and Anna Mae Bass (Hair); and her husband Jack Eugene Merriman. She is survived by: her children, Rance Vernon Merriman (Laura), Leigh Ann Jent, Erik Merriman and Melanie Grasseth; her brother Brett McIntire (Yvonne); her grandchildren, Keith, Christopher, Hailey Merriman, Emily Jent Fackler (Ryan), Taylor and Christian Grasseth; and her great grandchildren, Riley, Charlotte, Jack Fackler, Kai and Theo Merriman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh Humane Society.
