It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Cowling of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on February 19, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Cowling, Sr. (Lambert); his wife Phyllis R. Howell; his parent Marion Cowling; and his siblings, Bob Lambert, Marion Cowling, Jr. and Lois Garner.

He is survived by: his children, Angela (Terry Adkins) and Mark Cowling; his grandchildren, Melissa Adkins and Jacob Cowling; his great grandchildren, James and Liam Cowling; and his sisters, Phyllis Smith and Wanda Riseman.

Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Carmel, IL COVID-19 precautions, wearing of face coverings, social distancing and use of hand sanitizer is recommended.
